An Afternoon at the Arboretum

We are very fortunate to live in such a WONDERFUL city! It is absolutely beautiful and there are SOO many things to do (you just have to get out and do them). We are getting a lot better getting out into the community and taking advantage of it!  We are literally just down the road from the university, meaning we are just down the road from the arboretum. As mentioned in past blogs, I do love to picnic, and this is another spot that we fancy going to.

This afternoon we had some nice weather, however the sun was extremely HOT when the clouds were not covering it. There were a few brides and grooms doing their photo shoots, and others walking around taking it all in. It is truly unfortunate that we have not gotten enough rain in our region this summer, everything is so dried up. Usually there are flowers in bloom everywhere and today not so much... I really hope mother nature cooperates with us and gives us a really good down pour!!
