A trip to Burlington
Yesterday I took Owie to Burlington to the clinic to meet the wonderful ladies who assisted in getting him here! It was great to see them again, they are such wonderful ladies..... He was wide awake and just LOVED the attention... He sure is a ladies man.......
I thanked the ladies again for such a wonderful job that they do... They truly are amazing! It must be very rewarding for them to see the "product" of their hard work!!!!
As I was leaving the nurse reminded me that they were always there and it would be great for me to come back soon!!! Buahahaha!!!! I told her I really did not think that would happen!!! I will stop by for a visit if I am in the neighbourhood!!!!
After we left, we headed on over to IKEA!
I LOVE IKEA! I really do....
I picked up a few little toys for Owie, some wonderful puppets, a blanket, rattle, and I really wanted to buy the HUGE broccoli stuffy for him,but I could not justify it. They also had a HUGE carrot I wanted, but instead I got him a small version of the carrot....
I will probably get the large versions the next time I go, or maybe ask for a Christmas gift for Owie! They also have all of their Christmas decorations and such out at IKEA! They are fantastic! I noticed that at the dollar store they had their Christmas decorations out at the beginning of October. One side of the aisle was Halloween items and then the other side was Christmas... Seems a little too early to me.... (But I LOVE IT!!!)
Speaking of Christmas, What do you buy a little baby who is not going to know what is going on??? HA, I told Andrew that all we should get him is a box of diapers and a case of formula.. I think that would be a fabulous gift!!! I do want to get him an outfit so maybe that will be it.. A friend of mine told me that her kids first Christmas she purchased them a nativity set and each year it is their job to get it out and place it where ever they want to in the house and this will be something that they will have forever... She also suggested maybe buying an ornament each year for them and have a little story to go along with it... So I might just do that for sure with the ornaments, just not too sure about the nativity set...
This Christmas Owie will be 4 months!!!!! I wonder what kind of trouble he will be into by then??

The suggestion of a nativity set is a brilliant one.
