Fabulous weekend
This past weekend I had the best time!!!! I went with a girlfriend to a scrapbook bed and breakfast (Memories Manor in St. Clair Michigan), and let me tell you....... It was absolutely fabulous! The two sisters who own it and operate it were absolutely fantastic. The food was to die for, the atmosphere was incredible and the company couldn't have been better. It was pretty neat, the two other women in our crop room, were from Kitchener!! They were wonderful ladies, and I hope we run into them again!!!
We arrived in Port Huron a bit after noon. We at at a really nasty burger place. It was really gross....
After lunch we did some shopping at Target, and Meijer. We headed to the bed and breakfast a little after 5. We arrived and these two teenaged boys brought all of our things in, brought our scrapping items to the parlour and the rest of our stuff to our room. It was incredible.
We got set up, we each had our own table cutting mat, garbage can, cup holder, it was great!!!
Got out stuff out, and began doing our business!
Dinner was great!!!! then later that evening we had a tour of the house, great big old mansion (10,000 sqft) It was pretty neat learning about its history. We were up to about midnight, then headed to bed.
Saturday we stayed ALL day at our tables scrapping. It was sooo great!!!! We ate too much food and sat for way too long, but really you need those times once in a while.
Sunday we got up and had breakfast and left. We needed to get some more shopping in before we headed back. So we went back to Port Huron and did some shopping!!! Was pretty fabulous!
We crossed at the border about 5:30ish or so. Arrived outside of London not that long after and the roads were horrible. I guess winter had decided to arrive while we were state side. Needless to say it took some time to get home, but we made it safely......

I will definitely be going back there again. Just not too sure when. They are booked up until 2012, and I honestly could not commit to a date that is that far away as I am in the process of starting a family......
But for real, I will be going back again! It was an incredible time!!! If you love to scrapbook, and you love to be treated well, then you really need to get away to Memories Manor!
